$279.99 Cube Gingerbread tablet gets the hands-on treatment

Cube U9GT2 TabletAs we look forward to your comprehensive feedback below, there’s essentially something worth mentioning about this household-looking Chinese slate. Brethren, what we have here is the Cube U9GT2, a forthcoming Gingerbread tablet that features a juicy Rockchip RK2918 1.2 GHz plus a Vivante GC800 GPU, in addition to 1GB DDR3 Ram, 16GB Nandflash built in and a 9.7-inch 1024 x 768 IPS display.

But what really drives the Cube U9GT2 off the shelves is its impressive 10 points multi touchscreen; it really sets it apart from similar sized tablets.  It supports 2 USB ports, OTG port, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, 1024*768 4:3 high resolution, dual cameras, 16 GB built-in, Flash 10.3, smooth video playback performance, Gsensor, built-in speaker, microphone out and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Finally, just hope it gets juiced with Sandwich OS in the future. In the mean time, its price feels easy on the pocket, we tend to think so, or?Cube U9GT2 Tablet

How likely is it that it will be updated to Android 4.0?

I mean, the manufacturer doesn’t even have an official website. Where could such update be released?

On google releases the source code, you will see alot of Android 4.0 ICS devices coming up so why some manufacturers are upgrading to 1GB RAM as they are preparing for 4.0, however once the code is released it is than up to the manufacturer to do the upgrade, thanks
