Ainol’s 7-inch tablet, we go hands-on (video)
It’s been a while since Ainol last cropped up on our radar, and these are the days you say – well, why not take something off the shelves like the Ainol’s NOVO 7 and actually see where the company is and where it’s going to take us? They say; “it’s not where you from but where you at.” We know there’s a Honeycomb tablet in the works, however let’s go back memory lane when Ainol gave us its Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it didn’t appear that scruffy when it was first seen a few months ago. Of particular reminder was the device’s 7″ Capacitive 5 points Multitouch Screen 800 x 480px.
We managed to nab one and did a short video review (embedded shortly after the break). It appears even more delectable in motion, and maybe the coming Honeycomb tablet might actually stand out from the pack. In the meantime, Ainol NOVO 7 packs an A10 1.5GHz (current firmware running on 1.0GHz), 512MB DDR, 8GB Nandflash built in, Add up to 32GB via micro sd card, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and 3G connectivity, Dual Camera Front) 3MP, Back 2.0 MP, a microSD card slot, HDMI out and, most noticeably, built in Battery that could last up to 6 hours via wifi, 35 hours audio time, 8 hours video. It seems as though everything is perfect with Ainol NOVO 7 anyway. The only worry is its starting price at $139.99, how low is Ainol willing to go? Your guess sounds good as ours but until then enjoy the short video review.
