Baidu goes for mobile image editor PhotoWonder

Baidu purportedly bought mobile image editor and sharing tool PhotoWonder – an application designed for Android smartphones to give a face-lift to pictures and portraits (although the sum transacted remains undisclosed). The tool is created by Innovation Works collection Jingling.cn.

The Beijing-based establishment is trying to provide users with comprehensible, feather-weight mobile image contrivance that lets users shoot, revamp and share pictures using a smartphone. Although at the moment, PhotoWonder only supports Android powered devices.

According to PhotoWonder makers, its operation should be an enjoyable experience. With its exclusive ‘beauty’ function, it can effortlessly beautify images by mechanically whitening images, get rid of acne, widening eyes and various exciting features.

Lately, the giant Chinese search engine site has invested greatly into mobile internet market – providing services such as mobile search, mobile map, mobile input method including other mobile-platform services.
