Blue Morning’s V16 gets emphatically unboxed (hands on impressions!)
TweetYes, we’ve got another one. Barely two months after announcing Bmorn’s new V99PRO, Bmorn has stepped up uno más to the collection after weeks of silence. While Blue Morning’s branding sometimes can be confusing, you just need to drop “Blue” and get “B” to come up with “Bmorn,” the newly announced Bmorn V16 looks a lot like a product we’ve recently touched. Essentially, it’s a 7 inch with a full 1GHz Chi A13 processor, and 512MB of RAM. Just like the V99PRO, it also ships with Ice Cream Sandwich. 1pad.cn Chinese tech news site gave hints to its unboxing which we’re delighted to enlighten further.
Upon unboxing, it would seem as if Bmorn’s done less, if anything, to place these two slates apart. Following a nearer, lingering examination, though, you’ll see some tell-tale indications of a refresh, like the omission of a middle-positioned front facing camera. Aesthetically, this one of the obvious differentiators, but of course with more faint tweaks that make this replica feels more of an ergonomic counterpart made in hand. Toss the tablet into landscape mode and its smooth, gunmetal grey corral spills over tenderly to gather the bezel with extra pronounced curvature. That adjustment ultimately makes Bmorn V16 more pleasant to grasp while browsing one-handed, watching video or just going through the gallery.
Straight out of the gate, Bmorn V16 isn’t hamstrung with more specs compared to its earlier brother, the V99PRO. But we don’t see any overwhelming grounds why consumers wouldn’t want to cough out on-the-cheap for a media consumption slate that carries the same tasks with no vast content resources. It isn’t about being a fan; you either want to folk up for a network-connected tablet or find the paramount bang for your cash.
