HDC A9100 4.3 inch 3G Smartphone review

HDC A9100

If as of now you haven’t heard about HDC A9100, (our apologies…), you’re late for the bash. However as the common saying goes; it’s better late than never, the HDC A9100 with myriad chassis selections and carrier alternatives, is still going (off the shelves) like hotcakes not only here at Merimobiles, but across the world. An alternative KIRF to Samsung Galaxy S2 – no doubt one of the trendy Android handsets across china and carries a weight of hope almost as the size of its 4.3-inch AMOLED screen. It’s skinny, lighter, and faster, while flouncing Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with a deposit of customizations that could actually improve, rather than hamper its user experience. As a result, the HDC A9100 earns top marks for aspiration, but will this feline new smartphone match its interstellar thrill?

The HDC A9100 handset feels better in the hand, thanks to its intelligently arched sides that offer a comfortable solid grip. The textured back coating also feels fine to the touch, and it should be able to withstand nicks and scratches; nevertheless don’t expect its feather light build to add on the phone’s general firmness. That will be catered for by the still-highly-plastic frame encircling the phone’s screen. In fact, HDC A9100’s screen falls to nothing but spectacular. Black devices are impenetrable, hence making colors pop out, and we confirmed viewing angles are supreme as well. Even if you could push it to the limit with movie watching or just meekly surfing the web – inside the Super AMOLED Plus panel on the HDC A9100 never falls short to ring a bell that it’s simply the best compared to almost everything else including those high-end costly smartphones out there.

Browser experience is superb when you talk of speed, but we were a bit concerned when it comes to rendering. In terms of particularly navigating WebPages, the HDC A9100 is exceptional. With a smooth scrolling page experience and borders on slippery, flawless pinch-to-zoom, including re-orienting the display from portrait to landscape and back is completed in a flash. Asking price of $284.99 with 3G network (900/2100 MHz) or 2G (850/900/1800/1900), an expansion slot of up to (TF-Card), and MAX support of 32GB surely, that can’t course any harm.HDC A9100

For a phone with such expansive range of stick out features and specs, the HDC A9100 is amazingly easy to recap. The best smartphone yet, but more notably, it could well be the best android phone, period. Arguably, a 4.3-inch screen size won’t fit on everyone’s shoes; nevertheless, if we were to buy a smartphone today, free of such externalities, the HDC A9100 would be our clear alternative.
