Idea Tab: ready or not here I come!

Now that all types of Android tablets are running wild on the market. This has added pressure on the shoulders of many Tablet PC manufacturers. Lenovo has pushed a new model to compete: Idea Tab S2110

This device uses a 10.1 inch IPS screen with a 1280×800 pixel screen. It has three versions: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. It is also powered by a Snapdragon S4 ‘Krait’ 1.5GHz dual-core processor matched with 1GB of RAM…basically, specs that you would have on a PC.

The operating system is Android 4.0, and it also sports two cameras: one 5MP shooter on the rear with LED flash and 1.3MP front facing camera. You also have the optional keyboard dock that literally transforms this tablet into a laptop with all the power it has. The keyboard dock has standard USB ports, an SD card slot as well as an additional ten hours of battery life – the tablet itself is claimed to last for up to 9 hours.

The IdeaTab also includes dual speakers with SRS TruMedia audio enhancement and comes in either Wi-Fi-only or with built-in 3G connectivity as well. The 3G model also adds AGPS for location lock in as little as 10 seconds. It also has the FM function. I think it’s ready to compete with whom ever comes its way.
