Meet First Ali Cloud OS-Powered Smartphone K-Touch W700
Alibaba, Aliyun, releases yet another mobile operating system a.k.a K-touch w700 Ali cloud OS smartphone, and now retailing at Merimobiles.com. The homegrown prominent phone manufacture, Aliyun, and a secondary company of Alibaba Group, recently just unveiled its Aliyun OS. However, the new entrant apparently features “complete compatibility” with apps from Android via a proprietary Waterloo-style emulation coating. This android phone is frequently under spotlight and draws attention largely for its Ali Cloud OS, actually developed by Aliyun and dual-core processor, Tegra 2.
We would also like to see the firm’s tightly-weaved cloud services, with consumers receiving 100GB to store their ” call logs, text messages, contact information, notes and photos” — available from both Aliyun-toting phones and PCs. The K-Touch W700 features a 3.8-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen including 5MP camera with autofocus housing 720p video recording. Weighing around 156g and a dimension of 118x60x13cm, K – Touch W700 may appear a little “stout” when slim handsets were trendy in our days. The W700 version gives you several color options to go with, which means consumers of diverse penchants are catered for.
With prospect plans for tablets and “other gadgets” in the works, coupled with never-ending hinting from Baidu, those of you hellbent on ardent OS competition might want to consider going to China.
