Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition released
Now the new Motorola tablet goes for a more convenient 8.2-inch capacitive screen. Just like the Xoom 2, its thickness measures up at 0.35 inches, and weighs in at less than one pound, but sports the same 1.2 GHz processor including Gorilla glass veneer of its bigger sister.Holding it in your hand, the Xoom 2 size feels anywhere between the former Xoom and the BlackBerry PlayBook; and Motorola is also gearing the Xoom 2 to be an ebook-style tablet that will just blend with anything on-the-go-wear like inside trouser pockets or more capacious jacket. While it should be noted that both tablets are looking to fit more to business types – all inclusive with Evernote, QuickOffice, and Twonky (which implies DLNA-harmonized streaming) all pre-installed.
Interestingly, both tablets share the Fleming codename in the company of the latest Honeycomb build goodness including five-megapixel HD camera at the back; and of course with an announcement from Motorola, just like the latest RAZR, the two unveiled Xooms can both look forward to a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich later on after the release.
