NTT DoCoMo’s waterproof Medias Tab N-06D, “V-High” compatible and official in Japan

NTT DoCoMo gives the world two waterproof Android devices in broad day light, and interestingly both come compatible with “V-High”, Japan’s new broadcasting service. Of course that means users will take advantage of the highly-hyped multimedia Nottv channel soon as it begins transmitting live broadcast on April 1st, in addition to the standard one-seg transmissions. And thanks to FCC filing, we managed to sneak in our poky eyes on the Sharp Aquos SH-06D — we now know a few more crumbs; that includes Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz dual-core processor powering its 4.5-inch HD glasses-free 3D screen display. The NEC Medias slate also packs similar processor – although still runs Gingerbread (not sure of a prospective Ice Cream upgrade) and gets bordered by a 7-inch WXGA HD display, supports WiFi, infrared, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. There’s also support for LTE, 3G HSPA including GSM networks, with 2.0 megapixel camera. Its thickness level stands at 10mm (0.4-inches) and compatible with DoCoMo’s “Xi” LTE service. Oh, by the way MEDIAS is a brand name of NEC CASIO Mobile Communications, Ltd.
