PSA: Shenzhen’s PD10 Leaders Edition shows up on Meri’s radar, hints of NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 teaser
TweetPD10 Leaders Edition’s quad-core slate effort should soon be available, according to the Shenzen-based manufacturer. And don’t expect a Rockchip or Amlogic dual-core, but something like NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core. Expect to be treated to 7-inches IPS LCD screen, 1024 × 600 resolution, 16:9 screen ratio, and G+G double-layer glass capacitive touch screen that supports five-points touch operation. And as need for speed comes begging, ask its 1GB of DDR3 memory to do the job.
A multimedia depository in this wharf is most decidedly acknowledged. Equipped with a generous 8GB that’s further amplified by a removable 16GB microSD card, despite inhabiting this middle ground, that’s more than enough space to dock a sizable archive of music, videos, apps and photos. Ultimately, it’s your choice to have some of these stuff stored in the cloud. Of course, what a tablet can do depends on what the user brings to it – that is, third-party apps and content.
On a front 2.0MP, rear 5.0MP shooter, this slate’s combo of cams’ inclining towards disgruntlement is neither disappointing nor appalling. The PD10 Leaders Edition claims to capture video at 720p, support WiFi, HDMI Bluetooth and built-in GPS module. Anesthetically, this tablet continues with the same o’ design and technology; 10mm thickness is acceptable, we’ll soon cover it hands-on. If the hint (and what others have heard about ) is right, PD10 Leaders Edition slabs will be a common term among us.
