ViewSonic to list its new 7-inch HD 3G ICS tablet, calling it the VB737

Sure, we’ve been around long enough to confirm that we’ve also rubbed elbows with ViewSonic’s Windows-powered tablet. But if you didn’t get the chance to nab one for yourself, here’s another budget Ice Cream Sandwich slate from ViewSonic that you might want to consider — the ViewSonic VB737. The company has decided to juice up its clairvoyance with Google’s latest OS. Perhaps even more, 7 inches of HD screen (1024 × 600 pixels) with high-performance bragging rights. Unlike the other G70 series, this tablet is hamstrung with 1.5GHz processor (fashioned by a chip maker we can’t confirm at this point) and 1GB DDR3 memory, while 8GB flash memory should satisfy tableters eyeing a slate with a media-playing focus. Definitely, a UX of any form is an acquired perception, but we will share our experiences soon as it lands on our radar. It supports Bluetooth, WiFi and built-in 3G network connection. The VB737 is well integrated with WCDMA (3G) and GSM networks from China Unicom, allowing users to enjoy chat anywhere across China. With ICS onboard, we believe you’ll get similar suite of GApps, besides a heaping portion of bloat — a number of which can be disabled.
